Even more Pinkalicious

So Addison's pink highlight faded away and of course Addison couldn't have that, so she had her hair dyed again. Except this time she was insistent to dye the whole head pink. So we told her that we will dye it one more time for the summer and then we would wait to dye it again when school starts since it will only fade from her going swimming. She is now taking every precaution to make sure the pink stays in as long as it can. Jill (our hair stylist and best friend) told Addison that she should probably wait to go swimming after dying her hair for a couple of days. Addison took this seriously and we didn't go swimming for four days straight. Jill also told her when she goes swimming to put conditioner in her hair before going to help it last longer. Addison begged Mommy to go that day to the store and get conditioner and then when Mommy said we would wait tell shopping day, (a couple of days later) Addison hounded and drove Mommy crazy for those couple of days reminding her to get the conditioner. Now it has been a week since we dyed her hair and it has faded a little but from Addison taking such great care I think it will be in for awhile.
People at church kept telling Addison how great her hair looked and how she has a very kind mother to let her do that. I just smiled. Addison does have a strong mind and knows what she wants. Some things Mommy and Daddy feel is not worth fighting and she is right. She pulls pink off pretty well. She is sure Pinkalicious. Now Addison is trying to convince Dad and Mom to pierce her ears. Daddy and Mommy are thinking to hold off on that one but who knows what will happen with Addison.
