So, yesterday our family drove to Vegas to pick up a much needed added addition to the family. A office chair for Matthew. He actually asked for Christmas that we all pitch in and get him a comfortable office chair for work and home. Researching to see if that was possible, I find that nice office chairs are in the hundreds to two hundred dollar range. Being the millionaires that we are (lots of sarcasm) I decided to look on craigslist and see if anyone was selling one.
Low and behold, my first search, I found someone selling a decent looking office chair for forty dollars. I was so excited that I contacted the person right away through email and, to make a long story short, got Matthew an office chair for work for forty dollars. I was so excited and proud of myself but now I'm a little worried, because Matthew likes the chair so much he might stay longer at work now, (just kidding). He did say, though, that he loves the chair and is glad that we found it. Hopefully the job of a teacher will now be a little more enjoyable.
