A Place Called Home

living room
So...I haven't posted in awhile and so much has happened since the last one. The biggest news is we moved. We moved towards the end of June. I know, a while ago and like I said, now I am finally posting it. We moved closer to Matthew's work in Henderson and we have enjoyed it a lot. The kids love the area as well. It helps that the condo that we moved into has a community pool and park. Plus, Matthew and I have been enjoying the community work out room. Hopefully I will be seeing results from working out here soon.

Anyway, like I mentioned we moved into a condo at Traverse Point. It is a very quite and beautiful place. Around here, our neighbors keep to themselves, which we don't mind to much since we are very private people. It is in the city so everything is a few minutes away. We have loved having a Winco around the corner. Plus Walmart, Target, the Galleria Mall, Savers and (of course Matthew's favorite) Barnes and Nobles and any resturant/ fast food joint you can think of. We feel a little spoiled.

We feel our place is perfect for our little family. It is two bedroom, two bathroom. It has a laundry by the kitchen and small family and dining room. We love it a lot. See pictures below. The kids continue to share a room but I think that has helped them form a great sibling relationship. They love to play with each other, along with get into mischief and fight. Shock right?!!

Matthew right now is enjoying his summer vacation but at this point it is almost at an end and he will be busy with his next set of new students. Ethan is excited but also nervous to be starting kindergarten this year. We will keep you posted on how that goes. My prediction, he is going to love it and hopefully make some friends. We are just hoping that he isn't to bored at school and doesn't become a behavioral problem for the teacher. He is a sweet kid though and I am sure he will do fine. Addison is as smart as ever and Mommy is trying to get ideas of things we can do while Ethan is in school. She is already smart and knows most if not all her ABC's, her numbers, her colors, her shapes and her nursery rhymes. We think that she is smarter than Ethan was at his age which is saying a lot. I have been enjoying having a house of my own to cook and clean in. I have been mainly lazy and enjoying building puzzles and reading. My two leisurely loves in life. Right now life is great and we are feeling very blessed for what the Lord has helped us achieve.
