A Mother's Love

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers in the world. I have always thought it kind of sad though that we have to have a day for mothers to remember them. I hope that we remember our mothers always. I am just as guilty of this as anyone to not appreciate my mothers fully. Yes, I say mothers because I have more than one.
My number one mother is, of course, my mother that has been there for me through life. Who has given her all to me and my siblings and I know would give her life and anything for us because she has. My mother is more than the typical super hero. She is an angel and more importantly she is a daughter of God that has taught me that I am as well. I am so glad that she is my mother and that we have such a great relationship that I cherish always.
My other mother that I feel I have had with me all my life but she is probably grateful that is not the case, is my mother-in-law. I have always felt that the title mother-in-law is very strange. Especially when it comes to mine because I feel like she is more of a mother/ friend to me. I have learned so many things from her as well. She is also an angel and daughter from God.
Of course, there are many many other mothers that are around me. Aunts, Grandmothers, friends, Young Women leaders, Relief Society leaders, even those I don't know well. There have been many people in my life that would earn the title mother for their great example and help that they have been in my life.
Now to switch gears. I am grateful to be a mother. It is the best job that I have or ever will have in life. I have two great kids that always show me their love. That always teach me new principles, concepts and ideas. Two kids that give the best hugs, kisses, tickles and loves. Usually I tickle them more than they tickle me though. I feel that is a reward to being a mom. They, of course, also teach me patients, humility and how to be quick minded to endless questions. I love my children more than I can show or write.
This mother's day I was spoiled to many kisses and hugs from my children. I was able to watch my son, more stand there, but sing I Often Go Walking in sacrament. He also presented me with some daisies from Primary and the ward gave all mothers a beautiful CD of music. I was also presently surprised by Pappi who gifted me a really great wagon. I'm excited to test it out. Even though it is not Father's Day I am also grateful for the men in my life and how wonderful they treat me. Thanks Pappi for the gift.

Again, I hope that all mothers everywhere are feeling appreciated in life because you deserve it. With children or without you are a mother to someone whether you know it or not.
