2 Year Old Best Friend Forever

    Today, what started out as a typical Saturday, became a holiday for the kids. Today, we finally took them to see Grammy and Pappi. They have been begging to go to Pappi and Grammy's house since we moved but it seems every Saturday gets crazy either for us or Grammy and Pappi. This Saturday both schedules worked to go see Grammy and Pappi. We didn't know that Christmas was already her though, no wonder they want to see Grammy and Pappi. When we get to Grammy and Pappi's the kids get spoiled again with fun gifts. Ethan got a puzzle piece box with 8 different super hero puzzles, a Spider-Man lego set and a Christmas coloring book. Addison got a Minnie and Daisy puzzle, a coloring book and her best friend forever, a Minnie Mouse clip on dress up doll. 

     Lately Addison's favorite movie, character and toys are anything to do with Mickey Mouse Club House. Mickey and Minnie, of course, are her favorite characters and since Minnie is more accessible for girls, Minnie Mouse trumps Mickey. When Grammy gave Addison a Minnie Mouse doll that you can dress up, she didn't realized that this Minnie Mouse will probably be friends for life. (Okay, maybe until she gets another Minnie Mouse toy.) But the way she carried it around all night, complemented Minnie on her clothes and playing an I pad so well and also made it a bed to go to sleep in, you would think already, this Minnie is her bestest best friend in the world. (There are pictures to prove the whole having a bed for you best friend Minnie.) It is the cutest thing to see my little girl get so much enjoyment in a little toy from her Grammy. Tomorrow, when she has to leave it home for church, I might feel a little differently. Thanks Pappi and Grammy for the great gifts again and especially for your love. You always bring a smile to their faces.
