Sweet and Wise Words From A 2 Year Old
While I was doing some research and killing time on the computer, my sweet little girl, Addison came to me and said, "Mommy, I don't want Minnie Mouse shopping cart." For Christmas she is asking for a Minnie Mouse shopping cart from Santa. My thought was, oh no, she changed her mind and want something else. So I asked Addison what she wants for Christmas. She said, "I don't want Christmas. I have my Minnie Mouse." This simple little Minnie Mouse doll has been her whole world. It was a good reminder to Mommy, who has been already getting Christmas gifts and stressing a little on finances that we really don't need all the big and fancy gadgets. We can be content with what we have and with each other. Thank you Addison for being a reminder. I think Santa might still come this year for her and Ethan anyway but it will be a simple and loving Christmas.
