Pumpkin Carving....Pumpkin Eating!?!?

    That time again to brush up on our pumpkin carving. Again, we had so much fun carving, drawing and eating pumpkin. Wait, eat pumpkin??? What can I say, I tell my kids we don't waste anything in this house. So they had to eat the pumpkin guts as you can see in the pictures below. (just kidding). Ethan had lots of fun posing and pretending to eat pumpkin guts. Addison was so disguised with pumpkin pulp that she wouldn't even pose or go near it. She decided her job was to supervise Mommy and provide the artistic aspect

and draw the face for our pumpkin. They both did a great job on their pumpkin. Just in case the pictures are hard to see, you will notice that Ethan made a creeper and ender man pumpkin face on his pumpkin and Addison did a great smile face and afterward insisted that her pumpkin was a girl and needed a bow as well. 

 

 We did this for our family home evening and was excited that Pappi and Grammy were also their to help us carve, scoop, eat (I mean) decorate the pumpkins. We did end up eating pumpkin with a yummy pumpkin pie as Addison's choice for the family night treat and the next day roasted pumpkin seeds. What another wonder carving pumpkin night success.
