It's that time of year again when we have a whirl wind of holiday. But this my favorite time of the year. We start off with Halloween, Matthew's least favorite holiday of the year. I have to be honest, it wasn't my favorite until I had kids. Now I am as excited as they are and I don't even get the candy. Halloween has begun to be my favorite holiday because of the traditions that we have started. One that we just finished this week is our Halloween pinata. Since Ethan was three we have made a pinata every year. It started as just a basic color pinata, to just Spider-Man's head to this year. A full body minion. It was even more fun to make because Addison was old enough to join us this year. I have to say that I am very proud of our minion pinata. Now to see if we made it right and can break it. In previous years we have put to much paper and pinata goop that we had to jump on it to break it. Hopefully, after a couple years of practice we have fixed that problem, but since we do it one a year, there is a chance I have still forgotten how much is to much and we have a hard time breaking it. You'll find out the outcome in the next post. This year with our pinata Ethan and I have also had a little squabble. We put the eyes on the minion. The first set of eyes we did, Mommy didn't really like. It looked creepy to me. So I made my own eye for the minion. Ethan likes two eyes on our minion and I like the one. We have been taking votes from other. So far Mommy and Addison likes the one eye, Ethan likes both, Daddy is no help and won't vote and we will be finding out Pappi and Grammy's vote when we see them next. Here are pictures of both. What do you think?
